Female athletes are underserved in sport and healthcare — and most professionals working with them don't have the full picture. This 1hr workshop with Q&A is designed to empower health professionals with the knowledge and tools to better understand, assess and support the female athletes in their care — covering the topics that rarely make it onto the main stage, but absolutely should. Previously delivered for VALD Performance with outstanding feedback — now available online.

Teale is a Physiotherapist with a Masters of Sports Medicine, and post-graduate training in Women's Health and Pelvic Health. She has a special interest in female athlete health, bridging the gap between high performance and pelvic health. She currently works with Wests Tigers Women's Pathways and has previously worked with the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS). She has also contributed to industry-leading research with the University of Sydney and University of Melbourne — work that has informed injury prevention policy by FIFA and Football NSW.

She has spent years advocating for better care for female athletes and this workshop is the culmination of that work.
